Oil Filter Performance Tester is a device specially designed for evaluating and testing the performance of oil filters. Main functions
- Filtration efficiency test: evaluates the ability of the oil filter to filter out impurities under specific conditions, usually measured by the change in the impurity content in the oil before and after filtration.
- Flow characteristics test: tests the working performance of the oil filter at different flow rates, including indicators such as pressure loss and flow stability.
- Pressure resistance test: evaluates the working stability and structural integrity of the oil filter under high pressure.
- Dirt resistance test: simulates the accumulation process of pollutants in the oil, and tests the working life and performance changes of the oil filter under continuous pollution conditions.
Working principle
During the test, the oil filter is installed in the test loop and immersed in the test oil. The system then generates a preset sequence of pressure pulses, which may vary in amplitude, frequency and duration. Throughout the test, the system continuously monitors key parameters such as pressure, flow, and temperature. The test may last for hours or even days until the predetermined number of pulses is reached or a fault occurs. After the test, the technician will conduct a detailed inspection of the filter to evaluate its structural integrity and changes in filtration performance, so as to fully understand the performance of the filter under simulated actual working conditions.
