When the filter paper sample finally breaks under the action of the continuously increasing pressure, the tester will immediately stop applying pressure and accurately record the pressure value at this moment. This critical pressure value is the bursting resistance of the filter paper sample, usually expressed in Pascal (Pa) or kilopascal (kPa).
